Struggle to see any advantage to that set up, the 300tdi can be fettled with a better intercooler, silicone pipes, egr delete and a boost pin. 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html

I had be wanting to see a dyno, before I fork out any money on something like that. From the 306 days. It was all about what Mash said. Tweaked fuel pumps and boost, on the later engines it was remap, de egr, decat and intercooler install.
So really your better off binning off the EGR and CAT, and giving the engine a good service with a nice air filter, and go from there. mine pulls good now, all I did was bin off the EGR and CAT Smile EGR I think is the main problem on these engines, On my HDI the CAT really did choke it, Removed that and blanked off the EGR system and I was laughing. ( engine out sadly for me to bin the EGR) Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

When hunting for more power there are plenty of things you'll reach the limit of with a 300tdi before the inlet manifold. The turbo being one of them Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

I have one of these to go along with a Boost pin and boost ring and a Terrafirma air filter, and frankly wouldn’t be without it...it’s not about bhp or going faster, let’s face it, if we wanted to go fast we wouldn’t be driving Land Rovers...The twin inlet manifold is tuned to deliver BALANCED Air Flow to each cylinder, instead of the lumpy unbalanced flow of the OEM item, it’s more about drive ability, reliability and torque (period).

I like what it’s done for the engine and vehicle and it’s certainly made it drive far better than standard.

I have the Fourby one. It’s the only engine mod I’ve done and it’s transformed how mine drives . I no longer have to keep changing gear from 5th to 4th to 3rd and back up . I don’t know about power increase but drivability is changed for the better. I generally get 4-5 mpg more now which will pay for the manifold eventually. Would put another on without a doubt
