It’ll sell. Maybe not in huge numbers in the uk, but I’m sure the Russians, and the Arabs will love it. It’s up against the Mercedes G class, which starts at about the same price. IMO the Defender looks much better than the G. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV

Absolutely. And quite a few North American’s I’d suspect. And I think there’ll be quite a few sales in the UK to the ‘Urban’ (brand, not people of a city based lifestyle) crowd.
As for looks, chalk and cheese. The G looks like a G. The Defender looks like a Disco. Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

Only just dawned on me carpathian is a range of mountains near where they make the new defender. The new heritage has begun...

... or Carpathian grey. I’m happy because I got Carpathian grey for more than £30k less wink 😉
Ok maybe I can’t drift it, but then again I’ve got this bad boy for that! Click image to enlarge 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV 1966 S2a 109 aka Betsy 1968 S2a 88 aka Bob 2014 Jaaaag F Type 3.0 Supercharged. |

Only if you take the limited edition carpathian grey edition. Not sure why it deserves its own special model 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

Maybe LR are hoping that if you want more colour choice you will send your car to the SVA folks and spend £10,000 more......
Or take to the local wrapping company for £2000 and get almost limitless colour choices. I’m sure Farnell’s will be listing some more dubious colour choices on their used car listing soon! Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come 2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |

If I had £100k I’d prefer a modern take on that V8 90 County rather than a blacked out drug dealer look, or better I’d have that County to go with my new 90.

I tend to agree, everyone to their own, but I think its showing a lack of imagination on the design department. 90S D250 fuji and loving it. |

Would anyone like to enlighten me on what is so special about a County specification? Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

I guess I'm just meaning a bit more "rural luxury" rather than "oligarch chic" which seems to be the only way to do high end in Land Rovers now. https://instagram.com/bentheoandrews
