gone and ordered a transit van custom sport l2h1 dciv
probably would have been cheaper to buy a bike rack for the bikes but this'll keep em dry inside at the back. plus good potential as a camper in years to come. I've order moondust silver but thinking I should have gone for the darker (grey) diffused silver. what are your thoughts - good choice or otherwise? |

no mate. never been a fan of autos and I believe the custom/ford doesn't have a particularly good auto. |

thanks Stew. I presume you've got the diffused silver? glad you like the van - encouraging to think I may have made a good choice. would you by any chance know if the sport has uprated / different brakes or suspension - or is it just cosmetic? Clearly the engine is a little more tweeked but is that it mechanically? I've also gone for the double battery, synch 3, double xenon headlights and 230V outlet - otherwise standard. |

I’m not sure what the sport has , mine is 155 bhp and the breaks are awesome, I think they all have a 240 out let , I had the change the fron tyres as you couldn’t stop them spinning if pulling out of a junction on a wet road , there very swift

No, we have had two cars in Moondust Silver and I have seen the odd Transit in it and I really like it. Hard to find a Transit that isn’t white Colours are such a personal thing. I had a yellow Fiesta. Greatest car I have ever owned. I wouldn’t recommend the colour though |

I have had both l, and would say the auto is a bit better drive at the cost of some economy, I'll agree they are a bit sloppy compared to say a vw dsg or such. The custom dciv has to be one of the most useful vehicles about and they hold decent value also |

New models are 105ps 130ps 170ps and 185ps you get leader, trend, limited and sport spec
You also get MSRT vans but they are like a out of house tuning type thing. |

oh. i get 185ps then
and I think 405Nm. I plan to keep it long term so holding the value is almost irrelevant. I'm keen on economy so happy to stick with the manual shift. Kinda looking forward to getting it to be honest. |
