2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Stornoway Grey
Not Strickly Puma but
I do tow it with my 110 Puma! Plus i thought some of you may be interested to see this build. Its got a few trail bits of kit on it and i dare say will take some bedding in.

Anyway just finished building this 90 which came already caged and trayed with a man 200tdi and std axles (fitted with Ashcroft internals). Got it in March and have done

Front wings
Winches front and rear (had some help with the front tray)
Under body skid plates
Auto
2.8TGV
Force9s
Rad to rear
Fuel tank to rear
Hydro pump stops
New suspension
New dash
rewire std vehicle
24V switchable winches
Delta Tech Freespools on winches
New dash

Some teasers for you:

Its a 2.8 TGV with Ashcroft Auto Monster box with North Wings and QT cage//Tray

Allisport Rad in rear

Ashcroft Force 9 axles

D44 Suspension and bumpstops

Frogs Dash

Puma does about 19mpg towing it which is alot more than the TGV does when competing!

Also a small clip of its first competitive time out.

I was the marshal on that stage and the truck performed well. Went on to compete in the De-Cider Trophy as well. Not sure of the results though.
After giving up co-driving at the end of last season I now do a bit of marshalling for JST. As and when I'll get back into it. Might do the driving now as I'm past 40 and can't be arsed to run around all day.
Here's the same stage but this time a V8 on 100" chassis. Running the same Ashcroft axles. Very tasty bit of kit. Steve didn't need to get the winch out at all. I think the extra ponies helped a bit there. Co-driver as usual was just out for a walk. This vehicle competed in Croatia this year. Very fast winning the Race Day stage.

Andy,

i wouldn't use anything other than an auto on a 2.8tgv, they will chew through man very Gboxs quickly.

i picked up the 2.8 2nd hand, there was another on D44 site not long ago for sale. back plate for it is very £££.

i run a an HP24 hybrid box which is made up from a HP22 and HP24 with a 4.6TC - Ashcroft do them, its worth a call to them to get an idea on price.

James Cheers
