Yep, though that might have been an obvious option to add.

Not sure how much we should be reading into the configurator while it hasn’t yet updated fully?

Still says 2021 MY for me and doesn’t have V8, XS, etc or the lower priced hard top spec that were mentioned in the press release... Cheers, David

Ah interesting... it’s a sort of half way house configurator...

Interestingly it does look like you can get PHEV in XS trim, which may be of interest to me... Was never super keen on the X-Dynamic look and you get a lot of extras (eg. Panoramic roof) thrown in... Cheers, David

Updated MY22 spec document is available on https://media.landrover.com/en/tech-specs

Australian media are reporting some pretty large price rises, 96k base price for d300se plus onroads, currently 86k!! Not bad considering MY21 D300's only started getting delivered last week....

Probably they have made a mistake when it comes to 18'' wheels for P400 MHEV according to the tech-specs pdf?

It’s a great spec and you get more bang for you buck but I don’t like the body coloured bottom trim and bumpers

Ditto...

Oh please Land Rover just let me buy a P400e SE without forcing me to get the X-Dynamic or XS...

I suppose the standard plastic trim can’t be that expensive... Cheers, David

My build has gone up £300 now on the MY22 build configurator - at only £140 I think I might have taken that bigger screen if it had been an option, I think its now the same size as the latest D5 Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

I think I prefer the FE spec. Or not. Confused Confused

No advanced off road tech but better seats (leather, heated and cooled). No contrasting roof. Option to have the larger screen. Hmmmmmmm.

PS Looks like the HSE and XS have swapped alloys, not for the good wrt the XS. Not a fan of the diamond cut alloy malarkie. Sad

DSL,

Those XS alloys were 20MY HSE, the 21MY HSE has 5098’s in silver sparkle paint as the standard wheel.

Maybe until it comes to replacement time.

Are Tesla ahead of others in placing large screens in their cars, and so at the front of this issue?

Nick Gibbs (@NickGibbs) Tweeted:

Teslas will lose their value a lot faster if the life of the screen really is only 5-6 years, because that huge replacement cost will be looming. Like buying a thatched cottage (this might not be my best ever analogy).
