I've ordered a 90 HardTop today for May delivery but I'm a bit concerned about the ride on springs, has anyone heard what they drive like?
Short wheelbase won't help and as I do a fair few miles I don't want a fidgety ride. I also tow a 3.5t trailer and boat from South Coast to Sardinia on a fairly regular basis, anyone have idea's on the towing ability with a heavy trailer?

I have made the order based on a agreeable test drive in the dealer demo after 1st March when it gets registered but looking for alternative views.

Short wheelbase, its about same as discovery 100" so wouldn't be too concerned. 90S D250 fuji and loving it.

Trying to buy accessories for the new arrival seems impossible at the moment, thought I had the boot mat but they are completely out of stock at the factory, as are rubber mats and spare wheel cover. Mud flaps are well stocked though. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

J, try the mats from your Velar before giving them away or however you are going to dispose of them. I found that the front footwell rubber mats from my Countryman were a perfect fit. Just had to remove the Mini badge from them. Same if you have the boot mat (which might be able to be cut to size until the proper ones are back in stock. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

BTW - I feel your pain Rolling Eyes

Rubber mats available on fleabay (other auction sites are available!)

I've got a set already (not from there mind)
And some Autoglym super interior treatment stuff to head off the blotchy seat edge issue
But that's it right now.

I am umming and aahing on rear tow hooks and the front bash plate . . .
And a set of 18 inch O/R rims and tyres (though will need to wait for mine to turn up to test something first)
And a tailgate table

Well salesman checked the system, it’s still at Nitra, frustratingly LR don’t say why, not even delayed. It has left assembly so chances are it’s waiting on bits. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue
