2015 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 SW Alpine White

Starter motor not turning - access to the solenoid

Hello,

I am having trouble staring my 2015 Defender. Battery is OK, I hear one click in the relay and solenoid when turning on the ignition. So now I am trying to access the cables that connect to the solenoid to see if there are connection issues but am having no success. I cannot understand how anybody can get their hands through to this location. Am I not supposed to access here from below? Do I need to remove the wheel arch?

Clix - clix - is just a defective starter - if you're sure of your batt

Take a hammer and give it a medium impact

Then it's going to work for a few times - but it needs replacement

So give the starter a knock with a hammer or the solenoid?
