My bonnet is vinyl wrapped, had it done by my local sign writing place with no issues. The first wrap lasted 3 or 4 years before the red faded. The second vinyl wrap seems to be coping better with the sun.

We Painted ours, love it. All the family involved and actually more tricky than it looks especially with the wheel holder.
Love it though 
Bought a spare bonnet 2 years ago for £12  it needed repairs on the inside but sorted that and sanded down with little lad.

Thanks everyone, especially the photo comments. Just need a bit of milder weather now - these days I don’t reckon too much on playing in the garage when there’s a warm lounge to loaf about in. Watch out for my ‘how not to paint your bonnet’ stories coming here soon . .

Just watched a video reviewing the face lifted 2021 Mini Countryman. The American presenter said he liked the new design for the rear lights. He added, "I just love the English flag in those lights". Whoops
