1.6m Hannibal Roof Tent: After much deliberation we have decided to move the Hannibal on. It has served us well but with the arrival of the Disco, we have decided to go for ground tents (probably OzTent's) and use the roof of the Disco for storage (sourcing an expo rack) so that we can avoid taking a trailer into europe. The tent is in excellent condition. It is the 1.6m wide version, which is 1.2m long folded and 2.4m long open, it can be mounted width ways or length ways. The tent sleeps 2 adults and 2 children, it is a good size but remains very cosy. Being of heavy grade canvas construction with a marine ply base, the tent is very solid taking high wind in its stride. The foam mattress is very comfy allowing you to use normal decent bedding. The bedding can be stowed in the tent when it folds, you just need to develop the nack for stowing, once you are practiced, setting and breaking the tent is a breeze. The tent is lovely and cool in the summer with all round heavy duty fly screens allowing you to sleep comfortably with the doors open allowing a nice breeze or very cosy in the colder months with everything shut down. There are plenty of tough constructed stowage pouches inside the ten that will take your lights, keys and other and personal belongings.
