Hi
Would anyone know what parts I need to swap the Heritage Grille I currently have back to the standard setup? 130 was like this when I bought it, planning to take off the grille and headlight protectors to take it back to how it was standard. 130 has AC. Am going to have to deal with the screw holes at same time Thanks for any tips Simon Click image to enlarge |

Should be a straight swap, just need a standard grille and aircon surround which are separate parts, unlike the heritage.
Will you be selling the grille? I think it should be as simple as the A/C grill surround, the grill itself and the various fixings to swap out the Heritage grill. If you take off the light guards you will be left with holes in the wings, though. You can either just fill them with suitable bolts or fill and re-paint, depending on how much trouble you want to go to.
This might help (ignore Item 15, which was an optional extra and is now very expensive): https://www.lrworkshop.com/diagrams/land-r...ille_44847 Click image to enlarge Darren 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? Does anyone have any view on the quality of the aftermarket surrounds v the OEM ones, price is certainly fairly different

This came up a few months ago and the consensus was that the OEM ones are stiffer as they're made from something like fibreglass rather than plastic. I'm not sure how much difference it makes once it's bolted in place though, as they're not load bearing. Darren

Perhaps one should prefer the Nakatenga grille which is made of aluminium

That's just the grill - not the surround. Darren

Is that the Adventure grill you have in now? Searching for my first Defender...and started just as Covid hit, so talk about timing.
5 months after starting the search I found it, and here is the details |
