I have a Lovely tidy Defender 90 300TDi registered May 1996 121k miles on clocks but actual is 210k according to MOT History online. Full 12 months MOT as of Monday V5 here with one key and MOT Certificate available. Nice black sawtooth alloys and BFG KM2 Mud tyres with great tread. Starts and Drives beautifully, nice and straight and stops well. Temperature gauge stays rock solid in the middle at 70mph. had a full service new timing belt and tensioner. all filters and oils done. Engine oil nice and golden on the dipstick. She's had a new rear half chassis fitted from Bearmach and also a couple patches on front half. New radiator fitted this week along with new brake pipes and new brake servo. clean tidy late grey vinyl td5 seats All carpeted out with headlining. chassis number is original and clearly visible along with tags on dash and on clutch servo. interior is in good condition heater works great blows well and nice n hot. bulkhead lovely condition, top corners and vent areas are immaculate. In the name of honesty, the minor points to note are:- it used to be Arles Blue now painted Black and is black on V5 logbook. While it looks good in general and polishes up lovely, up close its obvious its not a professional paint job but it does hold its own well as you can see from the pics. Some minor marks here and there consummate with age. The doors are all completely solid aside from drivers door which has two areas of rust forming on frame which is easily repaired The windscreen Wipers don't park automatically, new park switch needed. minor stuff really for a vehicle thats over 25 years old! Perfect to make your own mark on. Viewing more than welcome and test drives are welcome. Price is £8500 on the open market but will do it for £8000 to Def2 members or friends of.
