Yes it has the jump seat, all first edition 90’s have that set in the spec.

I hadn’t twigged that the jump seat was standard. I kind of got to the canvas roof and stopped.

The 90 is such a nice car maybe too nice though, I need to drive it 6 months see how it runs and wears in a bit. There is no doubt about its capabilities you can tell instantly this thing means business, the ride is planted and stable lots of power and torque but as an owner of 2 defender hard tops that I literally would just jump in and wouldn’t care in the slightest about chucking it about any terrain or throw anything in the back I’m not sure I would want to do this in the new one it’s too nice! The commercial variant is definitely the one I would buy if I was throwing it about off road...need to live with it a while to see if I just have new car syndrome but it is an expensive car to trash up like the old one....am I glad I bought one? Yes 100%. Would I call it a discovery 6 or whatever some are calling it? No it is not a discovery, it is a defender of modern times. I will do a 6 months ownership opinion on the group to see how it is running, pros and cons etc.

New name alert: Maybe it should be renamed the Defovery or the Discender?

When you look at the 90, especially the side profile, it looks to me anyway, how a modern LR should look. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue
