Evening all"
Noticed quite a lot of oil on the sides of my R380 which looks to be coming from where the selector housing bolts to the gearbox main/extension housing. There doesnt seem to be any gasket shown on the parts diagrams for this position but it looks like there could be one included in the R380 gasket kit (based purely on the shape/size on some online photos). Can anyone confirm if there should be a gasket here please? I know there is one between the gear lever turret and selector housing but the leak is not there (sorry for the poor pic): Click image to enlarge If so does anyone know the part number please? Breather will be replaced when it goes back together too. Cheers, Steve 02' 110 TD5 Double Cab Rebuild Thread |

Cheers, I was sure there was a gasket there too.
That one that you have linked is for the lever turret to the selector housing though rather than selector housing to the gearbox casing. That R380 parts diagram is the one I have been looking at which doesnt show another gasket. I had a look at the LT77 parts diagram though which does show a gasket (No.26 FRC4489): Click image to enlarge Hopefully that should fit fine as the selector housings are largely interchangeable between the two boxes.
