Griffin should be able to send you out a larger mid box, then you can fit it when you get the chance and don’t have to drive upto Stafford to have it fitted.
I went with a small mid box and the rest is larger diameter straight through and it is very Obnoxious, but have never got round to changing it. |

I’ve been running my Td5 110 with no center box, and standard rear exhaust. Whilst the cat was fitted you could hear no noise at all from exhaust from standard, so center box wasn’t really killing any noise. I then removed the cat. Massive difference, and am thinking of refitting cat, or alternative plan.
When I had a Td5 90 I had no cat, standard rear section and a cherry bomb in the centre, this was sold by Alive Tunning at the time, and this was perfect level of sound. |

I have no cat, no middle silencer, only the rear silencer standaard exhaust. It is only loud at near full throttle.
It has a nice whistle: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JtvkRCuHmKM&feature=youtu.be Roel 1984 90 2.5 na Diesel - RR V8 (1994-2001) 1997 Camel Trophy Discovery 300TDI (2001-2009) 2005 G4 Discovery III 4.4 V8 (2008-2018) It's gone but it still hurts. 2003 90 Td5 (2009-now) |

Now this is real noise......turn it up and drool... They had a really good qualifying run yesterday considering that it was their first attempt. |
