Good to see some good reports, some of the feedback I’ve seen to Ford forums has not been the best with complaints of kippered engines and electrical gremlins. I guess this could also be a consequence of it being one of the biggest selling medium vans on the market.

I am happy to beef up the security on any new van (as with theDef) as I’ve had tools stolen before during the middle of the day in a Tesco’s car park, van is garaged overnight so just better locks and protection to deter/slow opportunist thieves.

Now have to look and see who is giving the best deals on Transits.

If your not desperate for a van I would leave it a while, new and uses van prices are at an all time high, something I have never seen before to this extent. And manufacturers have wound back discounts because they have reduced production volumes and just don’t need to offer big discounts when people are virtually queuing up to get them

Sadly as people are finding themselves out of work new start up business have taken off, which is why used values have rocketed.

That said, it’s a great time to sell one... Ride like you stole it!!
If I’m not on a bike it’s because only a 4x4 will do…

Fair to say we may have a slight bias having over 50 years experience working on Transit between us in the family....

A plus one for the Custom however. Very carlike to drive whilst retaining all the utility.
