Looks a very smart Defender.
I like mine standard spec so canβt help with enhancements Although I am partial to a nice roof rack π |

Not sure if security is much of an issue on the Channel Islands, but maybe worth considering
Some form of rust prevention would be high up the list given the proximity to the sea Although the rest is completely depends on your taste, do you want the big jacked up off road look, the lowered tarmac warrior or standard? |

Thanks for the welcome and comments all; you're right...I probably should give it some time before jumping in with a load of changes! I'm a fan of the traditional look...I just want to sensibly revamp the interior and exterior and am agonising over which would look better between brunel/anthracite and gloss black.
There are so many amazing builds/projects on here which are great for ideas and inspiration...would just be helpful if at least one was in Izmir blue so I could see how it looks!! Looking forward to collecting her and getting back into LR ownership... |

Welcome to D2N and Defender ownership! Izir blue is an unusual colour, not one I've seen before. However, in the photo is looks very similar to my Orkney Grey 110. Maybe look at grey with blue tinted glasses on for idea?
Like said I'd live with it a while, get it mechanically and corrossion sound then look at making changes. Thanks so much; I have to admit that it is your stunning 110 that has prompted me to look at various changes...especially the stunning anthracite bowlers...!!

Well thank you, I still really love the Anthracite (although do wish they were 18" now!). I have a personal dislike to silver so it was a toss up between Anthracite and Black. I never used to like black, as you can lose the rim in the tyre, but have to say over time I am changing my mine and black rims are really growing on me now.... it's a difficult and ever changing decision!
