Is that recent news I assume? I haven’t heard anything yet! Cheers, David

Confirmation of these dates was given on November 11th.
Now, how accurate this will proof to be is probably another matter, David. |

Just another thought I had....
The regenerative braking should allow the vehicle to have absolutely massive “engine braking/compression” when going down steep hills? Still no news on build dates yet... but can’t wait to get stuck into some electric off-roading! I wonder if the vehicle tries to use the engine more when in TR modes or if it’ll let you waft around off road silently for the most part...? Interesting, enjoy!
I still have seen no evidence that any actually *exist* yet - no press reviews, no Instagram videos etc, so sounds like you’ll be one of the first! Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

Did you get your P400e? How do you like it? Asking as I live in Iceland and am considering placing an order for a 110 P400e X but am slightly concerned about the performance of the P400e (vs D300) in off-road situations and potentially how much more difficult it may be to sell the P400e in the future (Icelanders do seem to love their diesel engines lol). |

No, I switched over to the D250 HSE. Got it 3 months ago. 7000 km. and loving it to bits. Reason for getting a diesel is, I tow a 2 ton camper during summer, and i just did not think the P400e was up to it. Also a little skeptical of the 4 pot 300 engine combined with an electrical motor. Seems my skeptisism is being proven now, when the new Range Rover will have a 6 pot petrol engine combined with an electric motor. Also a double size battery. Guessing the Defender will follow in the RR footsteps. |

I hear you and have similar thoughts/concerns.
My only thing is that the D250 HSE (which I would want to add Meridian Surround and maybe a couple of other options to) starts at 17.390.000kr. whereas the P400E X (which is fully loaded with more options than I'd even need) starts at 16.790.000kr. I'm leaning towards maybe getting a used SE D240 for now and waiting to see what the next engine offerings are before ordering new (although they're already estimating a 12-18 month wait for orders placed now), but I'm sure Skatturrinn and the exchange rate will mean everything is more expensive anyway by then. We don't tow anything currently, although we are considering a small 2-person camper at some point in the future. 90-95% of our driving is either around town or the ring road, but I want something that will take me anywhere when I decide to go into the highlands. The worst feeling ever was having to stop before the river at Landmannalaugar and walk across because I wasn't confident in our vehicle's ability to make it |
