Morning,
i am looking at adding a scanguage to my 2.4 130 and would like an OBD splitter so a port is available whilst the scanguage is plugged in. Is the OBD an OBD2 16 pin? so would this work? https://www.amazon.co.uk/FireAngels-Profil...ooghydr-21 Cheers James 110 2012 XS Utility 130 2011 M57 bespoke Camper 90 2010 Hardtop 90 M57 1988 Hardtop |

That would work.
From memory, when I used an OBD extension temporarily, you will need to dismount the vehicle OBD port from its frame as in the original position there is insufficient clearance to refit the fusebox cover with one of of those 90 degree plugs plugged in > 110 XS Double Cab |

When I had one of the below fitted temporarily (to monitor some parameters using by BAS tool) I could not refit the fusebox lid. Only one screw though to dismount the socket from the frame

OBD is found on pre 90 vehicles, OBD2 is a later manufacturer universal version of the same plug that allows more Bluetooth and wireless accessibility.
If your using a wired device even with a Y splitter you shouldn’t encounter any problems Ride like you stole it!! If I’m not on a bike it’s because only a 4x4 will do… 2011 2.4 Puma 90 HT |
