Stupid question but it’s not set to night mode or whatever they call it?

How about if you have some thing else other than the map?

On my Velar there’s a map theme setting, Auto, Light or Dark within the general settings on the main infotainment screen. Needs to be set to light or you get the dark map within the dials on the dash.

This is still an issue on 21 model by the looks of it. Mine is very dim on the dash info panel when showing nav screen.
I have the PP set to auto brightness, it’s fine in the day when it’s bright, but when it’s gloomy the system switches to dark theme and I can’t see the nav panel in front of me. The dimmer is fully on. If I set the PP to Bright setting, it’s too bright for me. I can mitigate it slightly and put it onto Apple Car Play with a black background, but still too bright when I need to use the cars functions. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV 1966 S2a 109 aka Betsy 1968 S2a 88 aka Bob 2014 Jaaaag F Type 3.0 Supercharged. |
