Whilst I pity those of you delayed by Brexit in receiving your £10k Canyon bikes, I in return am having to look at alternative suppliers (And therefore Brands) from my usual UK suspects. I'm looking to replace my fuel filter, is there any mileage in paying 40€ for a brand such as Mable over a tenner for Britpart/Bearmach? Monsieur Le Grenadier

You might find a cross reference with another filter you can buy locally cheaper if you look on this page (it's for a 2.4 one). There are a number of cross references. It's amazing what you can figure out will fit with a list of part numbers and Google.

Thanks Bluest. My apologies, auto-correct. Was meant to have read Mahle. Mann I can find. As you say, keen to avoid the blue box from China.
I’m playing the same game tracking down a starter motor by Bosch. Peugeot ‘version’ is 120€ whereas the Defender version is 240€. Will check with the forum shortly that they’re one and the same. Get an OE (Stanadyne) filter, don't €urocent pinch on filters You'll be more than €30 off if the cheapy fails you.
If you can get hold of Bearmach stuff locally (or from a EU supplier), then they do list a Stanadyne filter option: https://bearmach.com/fuel-filter-suitable-...-wji500040 Ditto Britpart https://www.britpart.com/non-accessory-parts/wji500040m 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top 2015 D90 XS SW |
