WTD: metal mesh stuff.....
I'm looking for a metal mesh, similar to shopping trolley/trailer sides stuff. I intend to create my own cage to sit inside the wendy house on my DC in an attempt to make it a little more secure. I'll be making a tube frame to attach to the original sticks, with the mesh fixed to it, so it could be removed if needed. The door (hopefully) will hinge at the top, cover the top edge of the tailgate, and locate to either side with a rotating type of handle & lock (if that makes sense?).

Does anyone have anything they could help out with (ie, sell me!)?

The handle, lock & tubing I should be ok with, but without spending a couple of hundred quid, I seem to be struggling with the mesh (unless I visit Mr Tesco in the small hours) Smile

Cheers! Mark

A-ha! Looks like what I need there Tack, thanks. I guess I was being tight and hoped someone might have some they'd sell me, but it actually looks a fairly reasonable price.

Building sites have mesh safety guards for scaffolding which get left in piles and damaged... my mate done his dog kennel with a few of them. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

Not a bad idea that....especially as I'm being a tight-arse about things, trying to spend as little as possible! I might go out for a look about. Mark
