You need some of the large thin nuts intended for this purpose:
Click image to enlarge Wind them out far enough that the tyre clears the wiper and then tighten the wheel against them. Well I am a tight Scotsman
Fixed the wheel problem with three core plugs that were lying in my “ that will come in handy one day store” Drilled them out and slipped them on. Perfect fit and width to clear the wheel from the wiper. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |
