P193514 Brake Switch/Sensor Signal fault- Help please! | |
I have had a few of the P193514 fault codes show up which my local garage thought were a sensor signal fault. They have replaced the 2 switches they thought were the likely cause but alas the fault code keeps re-appearing!
They are at a bit of a loss as to what is the issue and as they closed tonight for New Year break they gave me the landy back. They are going to make some enquiries with people they know who know Defenders better than themselves but I thought I would ask on here if anyone has any idea what could be causing this issue?
Only history I have where I had issues is the handbrake cable got fried when my battery moved as securing mechanism worked loose and battery terminal shorted out. However this was 18 months ago, maybe more. So i doubt that is related?
Any help much appreciated Thanks

if you have open cct wiring for ecm it will not see state change from the switch
