Been doing some routine maintenance on the truck, new the pads were low
Anyway - completely free moving pistons but one pad with 9-10mm of material and other 2-3mm, Any theories? could it just be the calliper isn't very well aligned on the disc? something else? my initial thought - seized calliper but it's both rears and both sides are free moving. |

Wheel bearings are good, just did a seal too.
yeah jst, it's the side the fluid enters from They are uprated AP racing brakes too, 4 pots on the rear |

This always happens with rear brakes in my experience, particularly when people have removed the splash guards.

Is the caliper centred correctly on the disc??

As James has said, common on rear calipers with no shields.

Never knew about the rear splash guards, is there a theory behind it?
I didn’t fit the callipers but there isn’t any adjustment I don’t think, just adapter plates and that’s it... |

Whether its in centre or not is irrelevant.
