I’ve got my P300 SE covered with LV for £368.

I’m over 60, full no claims and zero points. I’ve also fitted a tracker from the Tracker company.

Your own direct experience of doing so through A Plan or just rumour/hearsay based on non-A Plan customers?  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

This is what is frustrating. I’m 5 years younger than you, also have no points convictions or accidents. 10k miles per year. LV £1016 with £1200 compulsory excess. Doesn’t make sense. The D300 HSE can’t be that much more than your P300 SE. The X Dynamic badge must be made of gold! 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV

Unless your Postcode has become an insurance problem area since you last renewed the Jag insurance?

There have been a couple of people on here who have been told that their insurance policy is not going to be renewed as their existing insurer will not give cover? I think they were more around the London area not the north west?

Or do you think the insurers haven't moved on? Still worried the new Defender can be broken into with a socket set like the old one's? Maybe it is the name 'Defender' which is the problem? That still doesn't explain why others are getting reasonable quotes, if that was the case.

Maybe your area is high risk for 4x4 theft?

I have no real idea - only the insurance actuaries would know why..

I know it’s high risk, because the local news is full of it. It’s quite a well to do area, so plenty of 4x4’s. We even have a pink FFRR in the area.

I think I’ll move. 😡 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV

I paid £100 more with LV, no tracker fitted, open fronted garage. How much for a tracker from that company please as my SE came without a factory installed one. 2020 Defender 110 SE 240D: Fuji White.
