Or ‘opportunity leads to a SWMBO approved pre Christmas upgrade’.
Guessing that as the door was rotten and you needed a new one you just told her that it was ‘in the post’ Well, it might work for some people... |

Yeah too try to be fair the door want expensive only needs a few rivets around the door handle to finish and sp panels put in the third brake light rear glass for me at no extra cost. It’s the cheaper Non strengthened door that I got as I already have a spare wheel carrier just need to get some new hinges and spray door then rust proof the hell out of it should be good till the next lamppost jumps out

Did you go Genuine or aftermarket ?
Mines looking a little scabby, but unsure about trusting Aftermarket parts. |

when me and my mate had a look at my rear door on my 300, that thing was that bad that will power was keeping it together. We welded it but the frame and door skin where in such a bad way that the door had buckled. When it was stolen the and destroyed, the rear door had just dropped to pieces, its still there a long with a seat, where the defender was burnt out. I always toyed with the idea of fitting the later door to mine. But the idea never came, about due to what happened. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back
