110 HSE vs 110 X
The X model did not have Fuji white as a color option so I chose the HSE build and I couldn't be happier with my choice. Other than the painted exterior trim, the vintage tan interior and the rear tow loops, my 110HSE has all the options that I would have chose if I would have got the 110X...the price difference is $9,545usd which I would have gladly paid if I could have got the 110X in Fuji white.

I prefer the non X models not keen on the gloss black bumpers and side sills looks too clean and as though it will scratch easily

I agree...I don't care much for the gloss black on the bumper corners and lower side trim but I love the vintage tan interior with the ebony headliner in the X. As far as the rear tow loops, which is the only other feature that I would like to have, I plan on adding those to my HSE.

I also noticed that the X does not have the full Windsor leather seats like my HSE does. I think they should have made the full leather seating an option for the X model along with more exterior color choices. Ray

Is yours the Dynamic-X HSE? My dealer says it doesn’t have full Windsor leather, but has the windsor leather with robustek cloth seats.

I have to admit I was a little disappointed to discover it did not have full leather, especially when spending north of 70k! 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV

I have the 2020 model HSE...the X-Dynamic HSE is a 2021 model. I didn't see the full windsor leather seat option in any of the 2021 trim levels.

It seems like the early 2020 year model X's had the full leather option. Ray

Andrew, yours is a 2020 or 21? I see the 21 ‘X’ has ‘Steelcut’ whatever that is? 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV

Doh, what did I miss from the spec sheet? I was sure I was getting full leather in my X but the sides are a cloth.

I assumed there was no such thing a 'full' leather and the best option was full base and back in leather (sides being cloth)?

One issue I am seeing with the cloth sides is dog hair getting trapped in it. Time to hunt down some good seat covers I think Sad 110 County Station Wagon V8

Just checked my 20MY X, the black leather seats are covered in leather apart from the sides of the base. So I should say my seats are not full leather, Big Cry 130's have feeling's as well you know Smile

Sorry Andrew, didn't mean to rub it in. Just that picture from Ray confused me. it really looks like its leather all round on his.

I thought the cloth may have been because of my Jump seat.

Perhaps only the US had the option for full leather?

Thanks Ray,

So that's another +1 for the HSE over the X then.

I went with the X as that was the only option for the P400 when I did my spec, so everything else was determined from there. The Pangea was not my first choice but as you mentioned the colours were limited with the X.. Sad

I was also not that enamored with the gloss bumper and sills, and I only got the arches sprayed to match as it would have looked strange leaving them matt. And don't get me started with that metal coating on the bumpers?!? the water stains that get left behind are awful.

But, she's a Landy, there has to be something to moan about and I wouldn't have it any other way.. Smile

Actually, scrub that last statement, it didn’t.

Dark cloth sides in the picture.
