Hi folks,
I am fitting a mud pod to house some Carlin switches, so I want to run some trailer cable from the pod to the battery box where I put my aux fuse box. However I can’t see what the best way to get the cable through, my plan was to run it out of the bulkhead, into the engine bay and then into the battery box via underneath. However I can’t see the best way to get the cable down from the compartment where the fag ash tray sits, round and out. I was just going to pop a hole though to get it into where the radio sits, but then I can’t see how get it out to the other side of the bulkhead without drilling holes. The main loom grommets seem pretty chock full. How has everyone else done it? |

I'm not sure if the Td5 bulkhead is the same in this respect as the Puma bulkhead, but when I needed to run the wire for my remote winch receiver from the cab to the engine compartment I used the spare hole that is for the rear screen washer pipe, since on my DCPU this isn't used. The hole is conveniently located just above the LH speaker in the Puma and is remarkably accessible. On the engine side it emerges near to the location of the connector which joins the NS wing harness to the bulkhead loom.
I know that the Td5 interior and bulkhead are different, but it might be worth a look. |

Was hoping to keep it neater by running outside, but will see if that route might be easier. |
