Gas mileage for p400
Has any actually got anywhere near the projected MPGs? I have done pure highway and it reported I get 18- 19. Most my combined is ~14. I do have a roof rack but I wouldn’t think it would take off that much? I have been trying to take it easy, light driving, and no flooring it but still not near the projected.

Also this is excluding the off-roading.

nope, in Australia the "quoted" figures are 9.9L/100 KMs for the P400, which is about 23.7 MPG in US parlance.
After 1884 KM/s i am averaging 14.7L per 100 K's which is 16 MPG US. Not that unhappy to be brutally
honest with that return, as i expected it to have a far higher consumption vs the "manufacturers" quoted figures.
I have the expedition rack, ladder and RAI fitted, I am not sure on the accessories impact on economy, not much
has changed in the period before and after they were fitted yet another pommie bar steward down under

I either read it somewhere or watched it on a YouTube video but some reviewer also said that the MPG is actually worse than the as-stated numbers. '21 L663 X-Dyn HSE P400 Carpathian

X in UK is only P400 but do remember US gallons are smaller than ours so you get less miles to them. If it were the Diesel D240 then it would still not be great at around 30 mpg.
Also “official” consumptions bear no relation at all to real world driving for 99.99999% of cars and trucks regardless of the energy source - even electric vehicles here claim way more miles per charge than most drivers achieve and I’m sure that when they get more common hydrogen cell cars will also claim more miles per kilo in official consumption figures than real world driving will give Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

Yeah I also remembered since its winter they have different additives that I have never gotten great MPG on my cars during this time. @Andrew you MPG is crazy good! My most recent trip was almost 20MPG so I was happy with that. Although it was down from the mountains.
