I found a solution: EUFAB 11402 Quick Lock with an extender and tow ball.

This means I can keep my existing bike rack. WooHoo! Very Happy

Hi
Did you make the extender yourself or were you able to buy it? I've done quite a search but can only find the Eufab 11402 itself and not an extender.

My JLR dealer supplied it complete. He told me they bought it from a German website. I'll try and find out where they got it and post the link. Defender 2020 P400 HSE All Black

Thanks for the heads up on this, I have ordered through 4x4 overlander who were brilliant. This was after being referred by Nakatanenga in Germany.

In the meantime I have managed to get the Thule 927 compact to fit with spare wheel adapter. It’s a tad fiddly as you have to open the tailgate to fit the rack but then close the tailgate to fit the adapter. You can’t fit the whole rack plus adapter with tailgate closed as spare wheel gets in the way of the locking

Looks like Nickp was able to get it from 4x4 overlander. Maybe they will add it to their product page if they get enough requests!!!

Hi, yep, they were recommended to me by the company who make the adapter. Hopefully arriving this week.

Cheers

Not had a chance to try the new adapter yet, will let you know. But using the Thule 927 and the Thule spare wheel adapter does not allow the rear door to open nor the swing back mech to lower. Only allows you to carry and unload the bikes. I would assume this would be different with the new after market adapter, as it gives around 25cm of clearance. Will get round to fitting it when kids go back to school next week and I have some spare time Smile

Cheers

I have the Thule folding bike rack and carry a my Specialized Kenevo and the wife's Levo.

It's towbar mounted so works on both wife's Velar and my 90 with an extention to clear the spare wheel.

I prefer wheel mounted racks and not frame mounted .

That particular design won't work with the new Defender unless someone knows of an extension piece that can be added to the tow ball

Hi,

Which extension do you use please? I’ve got the same rack for my wife’s car and would love to use it on my Puma 90.

Cheers

Can I add a receiver to my 110 X 2023.5 if it did not come with it?

There is also a version of the tow ball extender from a polish company. I got via eBay (found the link on here last year). Seems to work well.
