Labcraft Scenelight Si9 - any good?
They seem good value. Anyone had or have one or two and can report how they find them?

How has the coating lasted and how are they for using both as reversing lamps and also as camp site illumination?

It looks like they can be mounted either vertically or horizontally upside down and still achieve a 45 degree angle due to the angle of the base to the lamp?

Hi Matt, I've one Labcraft Si9 mounted on the side of the rear canopy of my 130. I use it as a 'camp' area light for chilling under after the suns gone down. It's a really nice light, bright but diffused so quite soft and easy to work/cook/prep/chill under. Quality is great, rubber gasket is good, I placed a bead of bond between truck and gasket and then between gasket and light for ultimate waterproofing, no issues so far.

I have two Lazer Utility 25s used for reverse lamps but would think that Si9 would work more than well enough, provides more light than I was expecting and a decent throw for the size of the unit.

Cheers, Joe.

I can recommend this Rigid scene light.
It is very bright and has a great flood pattern.

Matt, I have not personally got the lab craft, but a few mates have had them and they are very good

I have the rigid that Jem has, however I wouldn’t recommend it. The light output isn’t great, it’s “ok” but for the money the labcraft is a much better option

I have 2 si8 lamps on my 90 for camping, not the same model but they are superb for campsite lighting, bright illumination but not blinding.
A bit tricky to photograph but a couple below.
