England 1996 Defender 110 300 Tdi USW Bonatti Grey
SOLD- 1996 Defender 110 300tdi Galv chassis & bulkh
Selling my 1996 Defender 110 300tdi as my wife has been made redundant and lost her company car, so now we are having to rethink our finances and vehicle situation etc.

Richards galvanised chassis
Ashtree galvanised front bulkhead
Bonatti Grey
144k miles
MOT March 2021
£10,650

Only one previous keeper who was my employer, so I've kind of known it since new.
There can't be many 24yr old Defenders around with just one owner.
I purchased this in 2006 when it was 10 years old with 50k miles, it was previously my employers vehicle and have owned it for the past 14 years. I knew I wanted to keep it so I had the galv chassis & bulkhead fitted professionally, and had it resprayed from Alpine White to Bonnatti Grey

Heated front windscreen.
Quick release steering wheel.
Boost alloys
BF Goodrich tyres
The internal door cards aren't pictured but are available, I never got around to refitting them back on.
It has some rust on the bottom of the offside B pillar and rear sill (see photos), but these parts can be replaced and for a 24yr old Defender its otherwise great.

This may have been a Land Rover Special Vehicles build for my employer as the utility body shape wasn't available in the 300tdi, and came out I believe in 2007?

Located Sheffield South Yorkshire

Exactly what I was after before I bought my landy a few years ago. I wanted a 110 - got a 90, I didn’t want any electronics- got a TD5, wanted galvi chassis and preferably bulkhead - got neither. I’m sure it will sell quickly enough, pity you’re having to sell it but in the big scheme of things it’s only a car - you can buy another when the time is right. Good luck with it, it’s just 5 years too late or I would have bought it.

A fine example of living history there WP.

I bet both the vehicle and yourself could tell a few interesting stories!

Thanks, The wife always said my 110 was like me having another woman. I told her the pecking order in our family was me, our son, the 110, the dog and then her Very Happy

Hi I am looking for a bulkhead, galvanized ideally. Could you recommend the Ashtree galvanised one?
Many thanks

I found Ashtree to be really good. They pre sprayed it for me after doing the mordant wash etc and delivered it fairly quickly.

I have read reviews since saying that they took months to deliver their bulkhead, so I'd read some more recent reviews. as mine was done 10 years ago.
