Small net above grab handle
Does anyone know if the small net that is in the SVX (to hold your iPod) is available as a part and if so the part number?

I think it's also is on some of the other UK models too. I need something to hold a few odds and ends on the dash and this would be ideal. 110 2.4TDCi

They told me it was part of the IPOD connectivity kit.

Ive actually got all the bits to make my own - well get mom or the wife to make it as it requires some stitching. Mike

is this ipod connectivity kit, a purchasable item yet?
i've spoken to my local dealer who stated that it was only for the SVX fit-out , and not a sale item.
same for the brunel style dash face.
anyhow, I only ask because when i use my ipod via the aux mode, the only lead i can get has two straight male plugs, when fitted to the radio port, i smack my hand on it in normal driving mode.
anyone have the same probs, or can you get a 90 degree jack lead anywhere?

Yes been avaliable since the defender came out and was added to with the SVX.

A good parts guy will sort you out SVX parts...have an SVX vin number to hand if there is a problem. Mike

Looking at the fitting guide for the iPod kit it looks to be an in-line RF transmitter on the antenna lead. If so your better off with a charged/transmitter style unit plugged in to the six power socket. 110 2.4TDCi
