Thanks for posting the station wagon. I was the person that pulled it out of garage after being in there for 20 odd years and rebuilt it over 10 months.
The day it was rescued Click image to enlarge Early stages Click image to enlarge When I sold it about 3 years ago Click image to enlarge It was sad to have to sell as it belong to family friend who died of brain cancer 15 years ago. The running joke was it just need a ashtray refitting after her husband started the renovation. But like all his projects it was very very slow progress. I wish i could have kept it but sadly didn't have the place to keep it. |

I’m with Devon Rover..for 17k there is way too much wrong with it...I am no rivet counter but the radiator, carb, fuse box, steering wheel (no Center horn push?) wrong tailgate retainers.....and both the front door frames are rotten Not to mention the scourge of Checker plate
I do love that Station Wagon though....that looks lovely and a credit to the person(s) involved MY15.5 110XS CSW 1956 88" S1 2004 Tomcat 106 Comp safari |

I have to agree. Station wagon = how it should be done. Ragtop = how it shouldn't be done.
That SW is a gem! |
