Steelies with HD Drive flanges?
Hi guys, just a quick one.

I'm hesitant to purchase new steel wheels with my new tyres as I've never seen any paired with HD drive flanges. I even went through the forums definitive wheel thread a while back to no success. Anyone know if its feasible Question

Cheers
Stuart

? Feasible ? Yes certainly steel wheels don't cover the DM unlike an alloy wheel.

An alloy you need to be sure the DM is thin enough to fit behind the alloy Centre.

Steels no problem and DM. I have Ashcroft HD DM and wolf style rims, see my 130 thread. Cheers

Not easy to make out, but this pic shows standard HD steel rims fitted with Ashcroft HD flanges f&R.

Awesome, thanks for that guys!

Feel like a bit of a berk now as I've flicked through both James' and Darren's build threads in the past Embarassed Stuart

Those look well Darren, where did you get your rims from? Our Boost rims need changing for steel & unsure which ones to go for.

Those are (or were - ironically I've since changed them for Boosts) Terrafirma wheels, which seem to be one of the few aftermarket versions with a decent load rating at 1500kgs. Darren
