I think that there has been a more recent update as mine was updated to 2.0.4 at the end of October and this week another update 2.0.4 P3C3 came to my car. There was a warning prior to the installation process that warned me that for this update the car would be undrivable and there would be no hazard warning lights or headlights during the update installation period of 45 minutes which isn’t a warning I have seen before when an OTA update has come in. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |

Is there anywhere you can find out what these OTA updates actually do, or fix? Ot would be useful to know!

Well, I am beating all of you .
Click image to enlarge I never got a prompt to update. Never got 2.0.4, I jumped directly from 2.0.3 to 2.0.5 some time today while the car was parked in my garage (and the software shows tomorrow as install date, at least here in the US, where it's still 11/19.) The message on the screen leaves a little something to be desired as far as specifics of what the improvements were. 2020 NAS Defender 110 HSE 5-seater / Silver / Khaki / Black Pack / Black Roof / Satin Film / Cold Pack / Off-Road Pack / Advanced OR Pack / Comfort + Convenience Pack / Sirius + HD radio / HUD / Meridian Surround |

I believe that Topix details the release notes, but you have to pay to view. |

I’ve paid a couple of times, if I recall it’s £25 for 1 hour access to one model.

Here is my 'latest' version
Per the note from my dealer, keep in I've had it 4 days- Shop foremen said, “Thre SOTA server is currently down, so I can’t do anything, but when Rover sets the VIN up to receive the update it will come through automatically.” Click image to enlarge 2020 NAS Defender 110 SE, 7-Seat, Pangea w/Black Contrast Roof, Heat/Cool Khaki Windsor Leather, Advanced Off-Road Pk, Black Pk - Deployable Side Steps - Tow Pk (6 Previous Rovers, Stable Mates - '09 135i Coupe, '98 M Roadster) |

It’s normal practice these days to update a large user base in batches. If it goes pear shaped it only off a few people, the problem can then be fixed and re-issued relatively quickly with a different build code.
That’s why some will effectively jump a version, they never were in the initial batch. Over the air updates makes the whole job of keeping software driven cars up to date so much easier than it used to be, when a dealer would only see a car maybe once a year for a service, sometimes two years. The effect will be that more regular smaller updates can be issued, instead of one big one every now and then. Sometimes this is misread by the end user as the product being a load of rubbish because the maker has to issue so many updates, when in truth it’s actually fixing problems sooner than they otherwise would. It’s a very brave developer who would say their software was perfect first time. After 30 years in the business I learnt that no matter how much beta testing, stress testing, scenario replication you do, when the general public get their hands on it, they WILL break it!! 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV 1966 S2a 109 aka Betsy |
