Removal of the body colored square outside the C-pillar...
Has anyone removed the body colored squares from the rear side windows? I was thinking of having mine wrapped in black but I'm just curious how it would look if I just removed them. Ray

I wonder how they sealed the mounting because it was the missing seals on mine that was causing the rain water leaks onto the door card and back seat. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

To be honest I’d just wrap it or leave as is.

They are selling a deletion kit for the 110 square.

The 90 comes without the square you have to spec it at a cost of £150.

Lucky8 have done a deletion kit for the 110.

Thanks...I didn't realize there were holes behind it. I'm sure those would have to be sealed properly. I would rather it have been just smooth glass behind it. I guess I'll just look into wrapping it. Ray

Tim, were you the one who posted a pic of it after it fell off. I can't seem to find that thread. Ray

No mine just leaked into the door casing and dripped out at the body colour line inside the rear door onto the door pull and rear seat. It took 3 visits to the dealer to eventually find out how the rain water was getting in, it’s been dry inside ever since they put the missing seals in....... Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

@gravytrain...that's very impressive! What did it cost you to have all the lower trim and bumper covers painted? It's hard to find a paint & body shop in my area that I can trust to remove all that trim and paint it the right way. Ray

It was paint corrected, ceramic coated, hood/bumpers/trim/trunk pieces, front window tint for approximately $4K. It was a lot of labor to remove the trim, smooth the plastic parts and paint correctly. I provided OEM clip and "trees" after watching the video by powerfuluk. 2012 LR4
