Max load on the interior light 10 AS?
I have searched and found lots of clips of info. Could you extend the current 110 to have 4 (in total) of the standard headlining lights running together using the normal candle light bulbs??

On the last build i did have 4 door lights on a separate circuit but i was trying to make this a bit easier as all the light are in the rear.

Also some people seem to solder direct to each terminal, are we talking about the tabs ether side on the bulb holder?

How many interior lights are there on a Discovery 1? You could use that as a further guide as they also use the 10AS

Thanks Steve, must try to find out. Pretty sure a few guys here have added a third light direct to the 110. I am hoping to add 2 x 5w bulbs so an extra 5w. Andy

Do you want to keep them as incandescent bulbs rather than LED?  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Ideally yes. Or can I replace the bulbs with Led but with warm white? Will they dim out then? Andy

You can buy some very nice warm white LED's and they dim in exactly the same way as the original bulbs. I bought these ones from Conrad Electronics and whilst not cheap, they give a much improved light:

Yeah, I've added a third light over the middle seats.

The link works ok although I've just noticed that they're out of stock. I guess they might be available elsewhere. Darren

It mad what you find when you dig into the spares Laughing

These appear to fade ok. Strange thing is I took them out of the last 110 as they would have a glow but seem ok in this one. Just missing a w5w type but can pick them up in Halfords.

These are nice. Reasonably priced, look OEM as they are warm white, dimmable and shine 360 degrees in the enclosure
