[For Sale] 90 pick up, 300tdi
1996 pick up. 190k. I bought it rebuilt 8 years ago on a galvanised chassis. Recent £2.5k of spend on the engine and turbo plus all fluids and filters.
New front bumper. New battery fitted yesterday. Pure metal tailgate hinge kit fitted for side opening. Genuine Wolf wheels.
Fitted with heated seats and electric windows.
Disco transfer box
11 months MOT.

I’ve used it for logs / shooting / taking dogs out. I’m doing too many miles now so would like to move it on to a good home. Private plate not included- will revert to P932 BAW.

Any questions please pm me. Happy to provide more photos if anyone is interested.

Thanks

Huttopia.

🤦‍♂️ Good point Greeni. I put it in the title and then realised it was a Censored to edit there, but forgot to add it to the text.

£8.5k

I write this from a hotel in London. A 24 year old Defender and the M40 several times a week get old pretty quickly. 😬

Thanks Greeni. I’d love to pick up your yellow peril but I think a rather dull VW Golf is needed.

My P38 is still the opposite of sensible, so I’m with you on that. It’s unwell at the moment, hence using the 90 daily. The joy of the green oval..

Thanks Mini Anaconda. In the event it doesn’t sell here I’ll head over the fleabay and see what happens. Either that or an old fashioned note in the post office 😁

I also have some galv rock sliders I’ve not yet fitted which would go with it for the right price. 👍

My new (to me) Golf is quite a funny thing, a 1.4 with 150bhp and it stops fuelling two cylinders when you’re not going very fast. On the upside it is quiet, comfortable, has lots of creature comforts and uses half the fuel of the pick up. Did I say it was quiet? It’s soooo lovely and quiet.....🤫

Just be careful with bumpers vs high kerbs. Do not ask me how I know it. Being sooo quiet you will hear the plastic though. Rolling with laughter 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

Ah, we all do that! Kids are now kicking up a stink at the prospect of selling her- it’s the only manual car we have and they want to learn to drive it around the fields....bloody kids 😁
