Ash
If you can be more specific about what you are trying to see about the DC rear seats I will try and sort some photos for you. Bob |

i also could get some pis if you can explain a little more, my understanding was that the seats are the same, though the double cab has them sitting a little forward and also bolted in possition, saying that 2 mins with a 10mm spanner and they fold like usual.

Hi thanks for the quick replys, I have just built a Tdci double cab,and have a problem with the back seats.
The back seats I have are out of a station wagon. I have tried the middle row seats in only to find the backs of the rear seats catch on the rear window frame Like mentioned they must sit further forward on the base some how to allow the says to lock in the upright position. Thanks again ash |

bank holiday slow start here, i'll get one of the kids on to taking some pics of the brackets later and will post,
it does seem that the brackets are there because the seats can't travel all the way back, saying that my son 5'11" just about manages and i have my seat all the way back. pics later mark |

Took seats out back of my DC and replaced with Exmoor trim new seats & frames - now have tip forward highback seats meaning can get access to space behind & underneath for storage, PLUS any back seat passengers do not have the rear window as a headrest!
EDIT-Just to add, mine are held locked in place with a key latch lock, 1 lock on each of the outer seats. Rock solid, but quick to release if required.- 2001 TD5 110 DCPU in Bonatti Grey Last edited by daviec1 on 29th Aug 2011 2:49pm. Edited 1 time in total |

...the problem is to bolt them again ! Manage to bolt them back twice ... the third time I needed to bolt them back, gave up ... it's fixed with a plastic tie wrap... If no one posts a pic of the seats till this afternoon, I can take a set and post when I get home Regards Joao '10 Land Rover Defender 110 CC '08 BMW F800GS '64 SIIA Forward Control '69 SIIA 109 ZA CKD _____________________________________________ You have the right to remain silent. I have an '07 Puma DC. My rear seats are standard and I have unbolted them from the top fixing brackets.
They tilt and lock on the tilting catches in exactly the same way as on an SW and I have never understood why they were locked in position to begin with. |

The base of the seats or the base where they sit (cab floor)? I still have this one Click image to enlarge Can take one from the outside, but if you want to see the seat base I'll have to unbolt them, and it takes time ... And next two weeks wont arrive home in time and with enough daylight to do that ...
