Depends how much the tariff changes are tbh if we are talking an increase of £1000’s then they can keep it tbh but what is there to say the tariffs won’t be less than before? Will they pass on the savings?

Given it’s currently zero they’ll do well to reduce it.
If they can thrash out a deal then we could have a different figure, however the fallback is the 10% and given the general level of incompetence being displayed by our government I’m not holding my breath. It should be pointed out that the increase in sale price will be less than 10% as that is applied before VAT etc. is added. Likely to be around 6.5% increase from what I read. |

JLR's view:
Click image to enlarge It's interesting to note if any UK content "exported", e. g. engines, will be subject to "import" tariffs to get to Slovakia for vehicles sold into EU market. I also wonder if "transfer price" is subject to some manipulation by JLR to reduce the overall impact? UK software is added in UK and valued at 30% of normal retail price? Anything that can be shown to be a high value~added item or activity. A final thought ~ CKD kits for the UK, assembled in Solihull; or maybe in a new plant in Wales |

Taken it back from whom exactly? What kind of a racist comment is that to make on a LR forum and how that makes you look to all the people on here that may have a different point of view than you. |

I was expecting a price increase, what bugs me is I will have had two increases before I’ve even got the car. In March my spec cost £45k now with 21MY I can’t get a base diesel 90 so it’s S spec which now Jumps up to £49k + potentially 10% on top of that. This thing better be worth it.

No worries. J77: Due to the silly pricing on the 90, why not get a base 110 for the same price? More for your money? |

Hi all, I'm new here and this thread looks like it could be the right place to ask this question:
Is there information on the various accessories and their installation time and cost? I was quoted installation cost on a to-be-ordered 2021 Defender today and after looking up installation instructions and watching some videos about them, the quote feels somewhat out of place (about 3 to 5 times more than I'd expect), so checking whether there is information around this. I'm mostly looking for estimated installation times since hourly rates vary greatly depending on location. These are the accessories I'm interested in:
But others might be interesting as well. |

the video to the review.. what is useful is that the reviewer actually has an old 130 that is set up for getting off the beaten track, a bit refreshing to see a journo that at least has some idea of what he is doing when off the tarmac. Edited: Informed that one of the spotters is lead instructor at a LR experience company, in deepest dark New South Wales. so a journalist that got some experienced people in who know how to get the best out of the cars Terrain response system.. not just having a lead right boot.. even more refreshing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2nUMbSIYeF...jbxEQm473k yet another pommie bar steward down under MY20 110 P400 SE Defender MY10 3.0 RR Sport |

Interesting to see that, in the scheme of things, the e diff is a relatively "cheap" option!
