Looks good. Wouldn't mind bringing mine along if you guys have another run later in the year. I will admit now though I would be avoiding the worst of the mud. 2011 110 USW

had a great trip across Salisbury plains with Markb110, Bob, & Simon(s)
weather was kind but dramatic Click image to enlarge had a great time meeting the fellow d2 guys. Simon was well up for christening his 2011 defender ... the rest were a little more reserved the boys enjoyed themselves too .. (no "how much further is it?" dad today!) Click image to enlarge |

Yep, have to agree with all this - many thanks Mark for a top day out! My cousin is now determined to get a Defender or Discovery, so one more joins the clan
Great routes today as well. As you know, my first trip to Salisbury but what a great start!!! Very good to meet some faces too - a very pleasant way to spend the day! Now looking at the bumper that Bob has for sale and the ZU rims and BFG tyres will be ordered next week.... Thanks again Mark - great day out with great company Simon '11 Defender 110XS Utility SW '07 Discovery 3 HSE '58 Porsche 356A (not good off road) '59 Lambretta (not good on or off road!) |

Er, being truthful here, I thought we were ALL going through the deeper water - but not to worry Simon '11 Defender 110XS Utility SW '07 Discovery 3 HSE '58 Porsche 356A (not good off road) '59 Lambretta (not good on or off road!) |

I'd be very happy to see a D3 there - my wife has one, and I'd like to give that some proper mud too! Simon

Steve
More than happy for a D3 as well as families. I also go out with the guys from the Disco3club. Salisbury Plain is perfectly suited to the D3 as is is wide open and less likely to pick up body damage and scratches. We have been over in my wife's D3 and it is luxury. Some pictures below of a run i sorted out in February http://www.disco3club.co.uk/gallery/displa...amp;pos=18 http://www.disco3club.co.uk/gallery/displa...amp;pos=13 http://www.disco3club.co.uk/gallery/displa...amp;pos=16 Worth looking at the Disco3club site as they are taking names for the pre Xmas run I am away from this weekend for a week Once i get the next update from the warden i will let all those that have shown an interest know Regards Mark |
