There isn't an existing relay. The interior light is controlled by the 10AS alarm module. I'm not sure if it can be programmed to stay on longer - hopefully somebody will come along that's played with the settings. Darren

It's not controlled by a relay, but the alarm ECU. So not a case of swapping a timer out. 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

From memory, I think you can turn the delay on and off in the 10AS with something like a Nanocom, but I can't recall if there is more than one option for how long the delay is. If you can find someone nearby with the right diagnostic tool it would only take few minutes to check 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

They are indeed controlled by the alarm module. The options are on, off and smart - no time adjustment.
You could fit a timer relay that earths the door switch for longer after it's closed but the problem would be that you'd have to wait for the timer relay to open before you could lock the alarm. Otherwise you'd get a mislock 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon 1990 Vogue SE Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 Td5 90 Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic50767.html Tdi 110 Thread https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic69562.html RRC Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic54492.html Instagram http://www.instagram.com/george_grafton |
