My Cat-S 65 plate 110 XS CSW

I bought this recently knowing that it had been in a single vehicle accident, off road, in soft mud, involving it falling over! Obvious damage was wing and door plus a kink in the side of the roof where the roof bar was mounted. All bolt on parts. However, the reason it went Cat S seems to be this chassis damage where the side step mount pushed in.

I'm wondering if anyone has experience of pulling out a dent in the side rail of the chassis. I'd like to have an autolign inspection to get the Cat S changed to Cat Inspected but there's no way I'm fitting a new chassis for this cosmetic damage.

Outrageous classification! Are there any holes on the other side of the leg you can get a drift in to hammer the dent from behind? > 110 XS Double Cab

Use the captive bolt to pull that area out & bolt some more steps with a spreader plate under to cover 'the damage'!

The daft thing is that there is absolutely no need to repair that "damage", it isn't doing any harm at all.

You could cut a section out and flush weld a repaired plate in.

Leave it as it is, just dinitrol over it and you wouldn't notice.
