Looks a nice enough vehicle for someone but why do people cobble together exhaust hangers from bits of old tat when the proper thing is readily available and cheap

It's a nice enough late SIII, with mirrors on the doors and grommets in the wing tops, as ex factory.
But it isn't County spec. It has a hard top (no Alpine Lights, no tropical roof) with windows (non sliding) plus a deluxe bonnet. If not sold, you could also try putting it on here: https://www.series2club.co.uk/new_forum/index.php?action=unread |

Land Rover never put such a cobbled together exhaust hanger on a S3. The correct bracket for attaching the exhaust hanger is welded to the chassis behind the cobbled together thing. |
