AWESOME NEWS Today, I did the usual off-roading/ adventure... But must admit I had a much better time in a gold 1987 BMW 3 series. Glyn P.s. Luke, she is just jealous |

At three years old and out of warranty I'd be finding a good independent specialist! Peter

What did I do in my Defender today?
Well, I put the Defender2.Net sticker on the rear window and fitted my "correctly spaced and sized" personal plates... Now I am just waiting to get tugged by Mr Plod! ... ,-------, .. I [__][_]|__ .. I __ |"_|"__| .. "(o)====(o)" ^^_-^-_^-^_^^^^^--^^^^ PAUL G7ALW 14.200 USB 26FB458 / 27.275 SSB |

Bought back 12 bags of slate for my sister and noticed that the rear headlining is sagging .

went to Duxford Imperial Air Museum. What a fascinating place - great collection of aircraft and loads of stuff for the kids to do. £33 for a family ticket and we spent the whole day there but could have done with 2 days to see everything properly. Highly recommended if you're ever near Cambridge/M11

Failed to connect my winch to the battery due to the ****ing stupid tapered battery negative terminal connector
Got a new normal negative battery clamp from VWP just got to find somebody to cut off the old connector and crimp a new ring connector on before Sunday (or I can do a temp earth connection to the chassis for the winch) - not easy in deepest Somerset Bob |

packed everything in for the long trip back to Ireland. Twice as much gear as we had a week ago but that square boot just swallows it. Filled up the tank and in a week with driving mostly around London plus a trip to Duxford worked out at 26.2mpg
Holiday over but looking forward to our next trip during the kids half term in October when we'll be taking the caravan somewhere - probably Kilkenny or Wicklow |

Trip out to check some green lanes in readyness for a run this Sunday. Had to do some gardening on the way.
