I think the trigger shifter is cooler & more in keeping with the defender’s style than flappy paddles personally  Cheers, David

If the paddles are fitted to the wheel rather than on the column then they are a firm 'no' from me unless they are fitted to some sort of performance vehicle. The Disco 5 ones are awful, and feel very cheap to boot. Chris |

on the new defenders owners FB group, a Yorkshire gent named Steve Firth, who happens to live in Canada, just completed a trip up to the Canadian arctic in his, he has put up some fantastic pictures. He has pointed out a few short falls of the vehicle in the "icy climes" mainly around the rear door wash/wipe and camera's being pretty much useless due to ice and snow build up behind the back wheel, and his choice of tyres for the trip which made the road a tad glassier edited to try and fix broken link https://www.facebook.com/shedlock2000 yet another pommie bar steward down under MY20 110 P400 SE Defender MY10 3.0 RR Sport Last edited by zilch on 20th Oct 2020 8:30am. Totally disagree with this: the paddles on my RRS are on the wheel and it makes it much easier and safer to shift gears when off-roading, as you don't need to take your hands off the steering wheel when turning. Like what Naks says, the RRS system was excellent and should be on New Defender. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |
