2015 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Santorini Black

Side steps query

Hi. Maybe this has been asked before but does anyone know if the rubber insulator fitted under the treadplate on the side steps can be purchased ? Mine has split over time. 2015 90 Xs factory side steps

Can’t make any comment on the part or P/N if applicable.
But if you don’t have any luck, just get some neoprene rubber or similar material of appropriate size and thickness and cut to size if needed.
Loads of options on eBay from foams, to rubbers of various sizes and thicknesses.
This is what I would consider anyway if there wasn’t a part by LR or Manufacturer. TheThunder Rolls🇬🇧🇺🇸

Thanks. The part is moulded to fit so would prefer to try and find the part. But if all else fails I will have to fabricate something

I tried the same search in the past.. no results.

Perhaps your best bet would be to find a set that has corroded beyond repair / usefulness and take the plastic trim off them. Hopefully they would be cheap enough. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

Other option would be to mold in fiberglass... but too labour intensive, as you would need to make a mold first from the good one. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing
