It does seem that we the motoring public are being pushed towards EV's by the powers that be - wether this is a good thing or not for the planet remains to be seen.
The first time Rover was in financial do dah they built the series 1, the last time in my memory LR were in financial straights they did the FL1. Perhaps they ought to do a no frills modern electric series 1 with a decent range, good off road that would appeal to farmers utilities and enthusiasts alike? Keith |

I suppose that Mercedes is still miffed that Jaguar beat them to get an EV SUV to the market that they feel that they have to try to beat everyone to get a proper off-road 4x4 EV onto the market. Has anyone seen an EQC on the road yet, they/ve been on sale for over a year now? It’s a Rarer sight than a new Defender Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |

I don't think I would notice an EQC on the road. Like the Audi it's bland as hell. EV wise I see mainly Tesla's around here and more recently Porsche Taycans. WARNING.

I think so. The lift gives it some presence.
I was referring to Tim's post asking if I'd seen a regular one on the road. Thinking about it, one of my neighbours may have an EQC. WARNING. This post may contain sarcasm. |

UK registrations started in Q3 2019 and through to and including Q1 2020 the total stands at 273. Defender at Q1 2020 was 293. So roughly the same number about. |

Developing tech/engineering for Electric G Class no doubt
Exciting, take the most capable production off road car and re-engineer for fully electric. Fantastic, good work MB. Chris |
