I think it’s just the way the light is shining on it, and that it’s got a black centre section unlike the lesser models. picked our P400 up today, minus the majority of its accessories which are all on back order or
restricted order (was informed that meant there were mods being done before re-release). So it is missing the RAI, Side Steps, Classic mud flaps, ladder, roof rack, interior rubber mats, bonnet decal, i will wait until they take it in to fit that lot on the 13th and the rear tow eyes. They did however manage to fit the wheel arch protection. I will get a few "beachy" shots tomorrow when we are out and about

You can buy most of that kit from PowerfulUK and fit it at home Zilch. Appreciate transportation to Aussie might be a problem!

Hope you get it soon, it is worth waiting for I can assure you, even if it can be a rather frustrating experience. I would say 100% of the problems I have had have not been down to the dealership they have been down to dire QC and poor development of some parts of the production process and I’m sad to say not enough development of the vehicle and maybe too much time spent making it look right and using nice materials than on the practicality of those materials. Seat fabrics that need aftermarket treatment to prevent water stains from drips when you open a passenger or the driver’s door stems from poor fabric selection or poor roof gutter design (there aren’t any!) not the way the owner uses the car for instance and should have been picked up in the million test vehicle miles in all the climatic conditions that it was allegedly tested in. When the xpel wrap and ceramic coating is done, the are also doing both a leather and textile protection,
so mildly hoping the seats will wear better. The wrap and ceramic is in prep for its 🇦🇺 adventure, minimise the bush stripes and damage yet another pommie bar steward down under MY20 110 P400 SE Defender MY10 3.0 RR Sport |
